A fantastic plastic-free alternative to cosmetic packaging. These shallow cardboard cosmetic pots have a capacity of 8.5ml and are a similar style to the classic Vaseline tins with their twist-off lid, making them perfect for handmade lip balms or lip salves. Each pot is made from recycled cardboard and has an interior plant-based wax lining, making them water and oil resistant as well as food safe. The product contains no plastic, is home-compostable, and also uses plant-based glues.
The lids are secure and can be removed from the pot base using a pulling/twisting motion. Please note, these pots are not airtight so are not recommended for liquid products. Their lightweight, stable, and durable nature makes them perfect for taking on travels.
The pots are compliant with (EC) N°1223/2009 regulations and are recommended to be stored in a cool, dry place.
As well as storing your homemade beauty recipes, these pots can also be used for small craft items such as beads, biodegradable glitter, and lots more.
Each pot measures 1.4cm in height including the lid and has a diameter of 4cm. These measurements are standard for the 8.5ml Shallow Kraft Lip Balm Pot but due to the manufacturing process being done by hand, Nutley's can't guarantee that every unit will have identical measurements.
