A larger than average variety, with dark green savoyed leaves. Eat the leaves young in salads, or treat as spinach when larger. The stalks, or chards, are delicious chopped and cooked in stir fries. An excellent, versatile vegetable, packed with vitamins, with delicious flavour and little wastage. Very easy to grow too.
