The secret of growing decent-sized herbs on the windowsill is to ensure the pot is big enough and deep enough, and that the plants are not over or under-watered.

This specially designed pot from gardening experts Stewart will ensure greater success, and has a patented self-watering system to ensure each plant takes only what it needs, when it needs it.

Four removeable pockets allow different varieties, with different needs, to be grown in the same pot. Watering is simply a matter of filling up the central reservoir - the rest is done automatically.

Ideal herbs to grow are basil, chives, coriander, oregano, parsley, marjoram and sage. Miniature strawberries should also grow well. Full instructions included. Made in the UK by Stewart - gardening manufacturers since 1945.

Nice video; nice website too! Very, very cute stuff! You are very tanelted. As for gardening in buckets, I have done this for years. I buy ugly black used old 6 gal pots from the nursery for $1. and fill the bottom with pine cones, sticks whatever is on my ground. Then I add 5 or 6 layers of dirt, compost, dirt, leaves/grass, dirt, compost dirt. I learned from you that watering 4 times a day is a cool idea. I haven't been that generous! I will shape up be more attentive on hot days!
