Slowly smoked over oak chips for eight days, the garlic turns a nutty brown colour and has a intense, rich flavour. Your kitchen will smell wonderful, too!
Tied in a traditional plait for hanging. Stored in a warm, dry place, the bulbs will stay good for up to 3 months.
This garlic is far superior to what you normally find in the supermarket. Freshly harvested, and not having been kept in cold-store, the garlic retains its juiciness and there are no green shoots to spoil the flavour. If the recipe calls for one clove, then one is all you will need!
Each plait weighs 5-600g. Usually around 12-13 bulbs. Variety: Picardy Wight.
