Yes. When I set out to study law I went to the source and roots, phlsoiophy, sociology, criminology, history, geography, economics. I read the theory and analysed it with my situation and how it worked in practice. My own school of thought is called Prison Law Inside Out. It's a law in context, living law' approach adapted to the prison environment. The view is different down here, and even when we look out of the same window we see different things.
